  • A shield of arms with a crowned circular band inscribed 'Church, Queen & Constitution' [and below are the words] 'Shrewsbury 1841 / John Loxdale Esq. / Mayor / Hon. Thomas Kenyon. Chairman of the Qu. Sessions.' (Painted in gold on the front)
  • 'God Protect the Church: To record the Public Spirit Intefrity and principle which at the General Election Midsummer 1841 Restored Twelve Conservative Members to the County of Salop' (Painted in gold on one side)
  • 'God Speed the Plough / The Twelve Shropshire Members: Hill, Ormesley Gore, Darlington, Clive, Tomline, Disraeli, Botfield, Ackers, Forester, Gaskell, Whitmore, Pigot' (Painted in gold on one side)
