Tea canister with a cover of bone china painted with enamels and gilded. Of rectangular form with slightly bombé sides and resting on four gilt bun feet. The cover, with silver mounts and lock plate, has concave curving slopes rising to a central panel decorated with flowers. The sides are painted with smaller flowers reserved within gilt rococo scrolled panels on a green ground with blue caillouté marbling. The interior of the cover is painted with flowers on a white ground. The base is plain, with a porcelain division separating it into two compartments.
