Physical description

Sauce tureen, cover and stand of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Decorated with bouquets of roses and other flowers in oval panels reserved on a turquoise-blue ground with oeil-de-perdrixpattern imitated from Sèvres porcelain, and the ground is edged with formal scrollwork in gold.
