Male standing figure in Turkish costume, biscuit porcelain. He wears a long belted tunic, a long cloak with large cuffs, slippers and a turban. The bearded figure holds in his left hand a sword whose point rests on the scrolled base. His right hand is placed on this right hip.

The figure is No. 90 in the Minton Design Book (see Godden, G. Minton Pottery and porcelain of the First Period, 1793-1850, London, 1968, p. 93 and Pl. 137. It is also illustrated in the parian body, in Charles and Dorrie Shinn, Victorian Parian China, London, 1971, pl. 6.
