Jug of bone china transfer-printed in black, painted over with enamels and gilded. Squat body with a tall neck, all in an octagonal ground plan. Squared-off pouting lip and handle in the form of a dragon. Printed in black outline round the body with Chinese figures in three groups of flowering sprays, the ground behind is washed with green and bordered below by a line in gold and edged with red.
