Cup of hard-paste porcelain painted in colours and gilded. Straight-sided tall cup drown into a narrow base-ring. Plain strap handle with solid gilding. In an oval panel in the front is a scene of ladies and gentlemen, with a dwarf, walking on a quay side. The panel is outlined with a plain gold band, outside which is a wreath of leaves and flowers. To either side of this panel is a bunch of flowers tied with a ribbon. On the inside of the cup, below a plain broad gold band, is a border composed of fishes with water falling from their mouths, and alternating with scallop shell motifs.
