Tankard of hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded and with a silver cover attached. Cylindrical with a loop handle curved out below the lower attachment. On the front, in a frame of slight scrollwork in gold, is painted a young woman in a red dress seated by a tree with a unicorn. On each side is a bunch of large flowers hanging from a ribbon. Round the lip is a border of gilt scrollwork. Domed silver cover with bands of beading and cartouches in relief, and inset with a silver half-crown of King James II of England dated 1686, and with a thumb-piece in the form of a grotesque mask.
