Cup of hard-paste porcelain. Straight-sided, widening slightly from base to lip and standing on a vertical footring. On the front a bouquet of flowers in blue, pinkish mauve, yellow and iron-red, set in a brown basket, the whole enclosed in an elaborate baroque frame of strapwork, diaper and leaf-forms, in mauve, green, blue and iron-red colours, together with gilding and silvering. On the back, a spray of "Indian" flowers painted in mauve, yellow, blue and red, with green leaves and red stems. Inside the lip a dot and palmette border in red and silver, and round the footring a plain zigzag in red.
