Dish of hard-paste porcelain painted in overglaze blue and gilded. Deep convex sides, and rim deeply indented with pointed and rounded lobes. Painted in the middle, in overglaze blue, is a mythological subject of a winged man seizing a young female. A child sits on a cloud. Border of lappets and kinked scrolls in tooled gilding with deep brown outlines. On the reverse is stylised foliage ending in kinked scrolls, painted in blue.
