Cup and saucer of hard-paste porcelain. The cup is cylindrical, has a rectangular handles, and is decorated on the front with an octagonal panel painted in colours on a chocolate ground with Cupid in a wheeled tub driving two sea-serpents; the remaining surface of the cup and inside of the saucer are decorated with pink and white bands, enriched with conventional leaf-ornament in gold.

Physical description
Cup and saucer of hard-paste porcelain. The cup is cylindrical, has a rectangular handles, and is decorated on the front with an octagonal panel painted in colours on a chocolate ground with Cupid in a wheeled tub driving two sea-serpents; the remaining surface of the cup and inside of the saucer are decorated with pink and white bands, enriched with conventional leaf-ornament in gold.
