Tobacco jar and cover of hard-paste porcelain. Straight-sided jar, square on plan, with slightly domed flanged cover in the form of a very flat barrel vault.

The sides of the jar have each a cartouche with a scrolled rocaille frame worked in relief on a diaper ground of quatrefoils, also in relief; within these cartouches are sprays of flowers painted in enamel colours. The cover is similarly decorated.

Tobacco jar and cover of hard-paste porcelain. Straight-sided jar, square on plan, with slightly domed flanged cover in the form of a very flat barrel vault.
