Bowl with cover and saucer, of soft-paste porcelain. The bowl is painted with a repeating pattern of flying birds in foliated volutes on a buff ground. A row of white beads on gold runs round the lower part. The cover and stand are painted with alternate bands of buff and gold foliage on white. The knob of the cover is surrounded by white beads.
