Figure group of hard-paste porcelain painted in colours and gilded. Neptune and (possibly) Amphitrite are seated on a rock under a tree with a Cupid pouring water from an urn. The dress of Amphitrite is decorated with sprays of flowers. The whole rests on a base ornamented with rococo scrolls in relief painted in pink and gold, and with applied flowers.
