Teapot and cover of hard-paste porcelain. Squat inverted pear shape. Grotesque bird spout. Moulded J-handle. Low cover with knob modelled as a blossoming flower and naturalistically coloured. Painted in pale colours with pastoral figures in a rococo cartouche of garden lattice twined with flowers and mossy mounds. Gilt edges. Spout and handles partly gilt.
