Sugar box and cover of hard-paste porcelain. The oval bowl is of bombé form with a vertical rim. The body is enamelled mauve and decorated on either side by a harbour scene within a cartouche all in black enamel on a white ground. The shallow domed lid is enamelled en suite with the bowl and bordered by two gilt band. The finial is formed as a rabbit painted in brown.

Physical description
Sugar box and cover of hard-paste porcelain. The oval bowl is of bombé form with a vertical rim. The body is enamelled mauve and decorated on either side by a harbour scene within a cartouche all in black enamel on a white ground. The shallow domed lid is enamelled en suite with the bowl and bordered by two gilt band. The finial is formed as a rabbit painted in brown.
