Domed cover with a handle modelled as a woman seated on a dolphin. Applied shells and oriental flowers, including swags between handles and rococo cartouches.

Physical description
Tureen and cover of hard-paste porcelain, covered with white glaze. Low, round shape, relief-moulded in shell pattern. Two side handles modelled as dolphins and putti. Domed cover with a handle modelled as a woman seated on a dolphin. Applied shells and oriental flowers, including swags between handles and rococo cartouches.

Object history
An undecorated copy of those supplied for the Swan Service for Count Heinrich von Brühl (1737). Tureen probably modelled ca. 1740-41. Cover knob was remodelled ("neue form") by Eberlein in November 1742 (probably the addition of putti to the side handles was made at this time)
Production
Attribution from the manuscript catalogue dates from about 1970 and was compiled by William Hutton of the Toledo Museum of Art, Ohio.
