Vase of porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Urn-shaped, with a square plinth and two gilt handles springing from bunches of grapes. On either side are the arms of the Honourable East India Company and with the motto 'AUSPICIO REGIS ET SENATUS ANGLIAE' painted in various colours and gold in panels on the upper part. The ground between them are pale pink. Round the lower part are irregular pink band edged with gilt scrolls from which depend two sprays of roses.
