Vase and cover of porcelain. Vase in the shape of an elongated classical urn with two vertical ring handles and ribbons in relief on the shoulder, the foot and square base attached with a brass cap and screw. The ground colour is deep greenish-blue with gilding on the foot and shoulder. Below the shoulder, in engraved relief of white porcelain, is a scrolled band hung with festoons and twigs bearing leaves and the pendant hearts are flaming. A cupid moving left kindles a torch at one of them. Signed 'L. Solon' in pâte-sur-pâte.
