Jug of white earthenware, with flat metal cover, hinged and weighted so that it opens when the jug is tipped to pour. Tapering cylinder, angular handle, and pronounced lip. Underglazed printed decoration in two shades of grey, blue and green. Geometrical band towards the base of the jug, with squares containing a circular device.
