Cup and saucer of hard-paste porcelain. The cup with yellow ground exterior, each side with a reserved lobed panel painted with oriental birds and flowers; the saucer decorated en-suite with birds and flowers on the upper face, and with a plain yellow ground on the lower; the footring banded with gold and the rims of both pieces enamelled brown.
