Porcelain vase thrown in two sections to form a tall elongated cigar-shape with a small foot and small opening at the top. It has been decorated with a celadon glaze which has crazed/crackled in the firing. Then copper red glaze has been poured over areas and reduction fired.

Object history
Brother Thomas (Thomas Bezanson) is a Benedictine monk who started to work in pottery before entering a monastery in Vermont in 1959 since when he has continued to work.
