Tea caddy, polygonal with incurved sides and slightly domed top. Of tortoiseshell with six upright bands of mother-of-pearl. The edges of the inside of the box and lid are lined with ivory. The interior is fitted with a cover of tortoiseshell with a turned ivory knob. It contains a tortoiseshell caddy spoon inlaid with silver.
