Decoration is blue on white, with stylised "branches" growing out of a central stalk and flowing around vase. In-glaze silk screen transfer ("slide off") in one colour, high-fired to glaze temperature.

Shown at the Hanover Trade Fair 1971. The design was applied to a wide number of different vase sizes and shapes. The information about the design and manufacture was supplied by the donor at the time of the gift. A body of archival material was also acquired by the Archive of Art and Design at the same time as this group of ceramics.
