Copper, decorated with champlevé enamel, traces of gilding. The top with a diaper of medallions enclosing stars and foliage; one half is hinged to form the lid and each half set with an openwork boss (only one, a coiled dragon, remaining) and ending in a serpent's head. Round the body a foliated, wavy stem.
