Necklace of 11 graduated plaques of moss agate set in gold mounts, with a matching snap clasp. Each plaque is rectangular, with cut-off corners, set in a frame of imitation coil rings, with the back open. There is a small imitation filigree rosette over each of the links joining the plaques together. The original snap clasp has been removed, and replaced with a metal hook and loop.
