FIRE BASKET Mild Steel England; 1980 Designed and made by James Horrobin (b.1946) The son of a blacksmith, Horrobin makes use of traditional techniques but is interested in exploring these afresh. Horrobin also designed the gates you can see to your right leading from this Gallery to the Musical Instruments Gallery. Museum No. M.31-1981(07/1994)
