Silver with gilded front
Brief description
Pair of silver-gilt earrings with horse on front, Wurttemberg (Germany), 1860-1870.
Physical description
Pair of circular silver earrings. Each has a gilded repousse figure of a horse on the front, and a post with a screw thread attached vertically to the back. A small silver-gilt disc is screwed onto the post at the back, to keep the ear stud in place.
