Cylinder music box with a keywind mechanism, playing five tunes. Stamped L. Lecoutre. This box differs from other keywind examples in having no flap over the control lever. It dates from the period when the makers' efforts were concentrated on producing fine musical quality while the case was generally unadorned and of simple construction.
