Object history | Bought for £6-10-0. from Mr. J.C. Robinson [items 18-48 of 1881 were bought from Robinson for £503.5.0 plus expenses] An inscription suggest that the chest was apparently with an antiquarian dealer in Brescia, Giovita Coen (and had been used to contain swords), before Robinson purchased it. |
