Object history
Registered File number 1983/809. The 'Peacock Feather' pattern was originally issued by Liberty's in 1887. Liberty's reprinted this design on furnishing fabric to commemorate their centenary in 1975. It proved a best seller and it was then adapted for use on head squares, dress silks and miniaturised for use on their small 'fancy goods'.
