Man's unfinished nightcap of very fine linen embroidered with black silk. It is made ofa pieced rectangle, 1 side straight and turned up to form the brim, the other side cut in 4 triangular shapes. The cap is embroidered in speckling and stem stitches in a pattern of flowers, birds and insects.
