Curtain heading comprising of a border of olive green woven twill in a fine wool attached to a green braid. Six brass hooks are sewn to the braid in a haphazard way with linen thread. The hooks are crook shaped with an enclosed loop at one end, and this is sewn to the heading tape.

| Object history | Registered File number 1985/1122. The heading was removed from a curtain made by J&S Temple of Glasgow in 1878. Although it is likely that the heading was attached by an amateur the date of fixing is likely to be close to the original weaving. |
