A rectangular velvet saddle cloth with rounded corners designed to be placed behind the saddle, with a semicircular cut out on one side for the saddle. Decorated with embroidery in metal thread in a design of wavy stems running around three sides. A motif resembling a fleur des lys or prince of wales's feathers are represented at the rear corners.
