Tennis dress of white linen with a high square neck, long sleeves, a natural waist and a straight, gathered ankle-length skirt. A loose panel, edged with a wide crochet band, is applied to the front and back of the bodice. The bodice is hip-length where it is trimmed with tassels, and reaches to the neck. The panel at the back is attached to the bodice at the right-hand side of the neck with three snap fasteners, covering the central back opening of the bodice, which fastens with snap fasteners, but hooks at the waist. Butterflies have been embroidered on the top and the bottom of the applied panels.
