Physical description

Cap panel of black silk velvet, embroidered with silver thread. It was probably enriched with faceted glass which is now missing. The embroidery is raised by being worked over cardboard. A conventional flowering plant encircled by a slender leafy wreath. At back there is a canvas lining.
