Cap panel of purple silk velvet, embroidered with silver-gilt thread, and further enriched with gilt metal beads and pieces of faceted blue and white glass. The embroidery is raised by being worked over cardboard. Symmetrical arrangement of two flowering and leafy stems, crossing one another. At back there is a canvas lining, and a sheet of brown paper.
