Physical description

Pair of sleeve ruffles of tamboured muslin gathered onto a linen band. Embroidered with white cotton in chain stitch with small sprigs of bell-like flowers. Scalloped edges decorated with a border of guilloche pattern and a looped stem bearing small trefoil leaves. The two underneath ruffles have the border pattern and one row of flower sprigs only.
