Collapsible work box made from a stick of wood fitted with double-ended umbrella steels which are fitted the wrong way round to create a deep bucket-shaped receptacle, and with a four-footed quadruped stand. The framework is covered with silk satin, arranged in alternating cream and green panels, with interior pockets around the inner edge of the receptacle. The receptacle is trimmed with matching silk fringe and green-and-white cord passementerie with tassels. Brass ferule-foot to the end of pole where the stand is. The wooden pole unscrews mid-way to enable the workbox to be further folded in half. It can be folded in two.
