Physical description

Pattern book, knitting needle, crochet hook, skein, sewing bag.

Stiff-covered pattern book of knitting and crochet patterns, a skein with a ball of fine Shetland wool, steel knitting needle and crochet hook (size 4). The book has several patterns for socks and helmets knitted for the soldiers in the First World War (1914-1918), together with cuttings from newspapers asking for these items.
