Bed cover of block-printed cotton. With stems of an exotic flower reserved in white, with a horseshoe-shaped half calyx in red and pink, and long leaves in pencilled blue, all set in a deep madder ground of purple-maroon. Made up from narrow strips, the widest being approximately 21 inches, on a very coarse backing of unbleached linen. The scalloped hanging side of the cover are backed with a finer white linen. Scalloped and the join of the top and sides are bound with yellow silk ribbon.
