Evening dress of embroidered pink taffeta in gold thread. Sleeveless and net is draped over the low 'V' necked bodice with a gold ribbon which forms a belt at the high waist and is stitched as a band down the centre front. Streamers, finished with a gold bead-trimmed tassel, trim the centre back, and a trimmed bow catches together at the centre. Polonaise-type overskirt is looped up at the side with gilt cords. Facing the hem is a wide band of gold lace.

The bodice is lined with white silk and fastens at the centre-back with snap fasteners and hooks and eyes. Grosgrain waist band.

With a dress ornament of pink and red roses.
