Pilaster hanging, silver-gilt thread and linen tissue, applied to a velvet ground, with couched work. The pattern is outlined with similar strips twisted round a linen core. Repeating vertical pattern of symmetrical flowering plants with long curved leaves, and festoons above. On the lining at the back is marked '4 Joas (?) Baptista'.
