Christening robe of white silk satin, open at the front and pleated at the back and front. The neck is square and there is a small opening at the centre back. The sleeves are short and straight, trimmed with cuffs of hollie point. The front neck and opening and the hem are trimmed with a white silk fringe with tassels of the same with silk fringe. The robe is lined with white silk. There is a long ribbon of cream silk grograin, the ends edged with the silk fringe; and a narrower ribbon of cream silk satin with a bell-shaped tassel of white silk satin trimmed with silk fringe.
