Christening robe of ivory silk satin lined with ivory silk sarsenet. It is open at the front with small tucks on either side of the bodice and at the centre back. The robe has short, straight sleeves with a cuff and shoulder strapes. There is an ivory silk fringe in w meandering bands on either side of the front opening and around the cuffs and hem. There is a small opening with a tie fastening at the centre back of the neck.
