Physical description

Skirt frill made from loosely woven and stiffened cream coloured cotton. It consists of a length of widely machine pleated cotton to which at one edge a doubled over band of the ground material is stitched to provide attachment to the dress, and at the other edge a double band of narrow machine pleats edged with machine lace. All the seams are machine chain stitched.
