This linen hanging is painted . S. Thomas, S. Mark and S. Peter's names are given in Greek. They advance towards the right. The scene represents part of the subject "The Communion of the Apostles". The figures are enclosed above and below and on the left side by a straight band with a zig-zag stem having tyriangular ornaments in the angles. The space above and below is covered with a diaper of rosettes formed by seven circles.

This linen hanging is resist dyed. S. Thomas, S. Mark and S. Peter's names are given in Greek. They advance towards the right. The scene represents part of the subject "The Communion of the Apostles". The figures are enclosed above and below and on the left side by a straight band with a zig-zag stem having tyriangular ornaments in the angles. The space above and below is covered with a diaper of rosettes formed by seven circles.

Purchased from Messrs. M. Keezer and Zoon, Amsterdam, for £44 18s 4d. Formerly in the collection of Herr Theodor Graf, of Vienna, then passed into the possession of Dr. J. P. Richter before being purchased for the Museum.

This, together with T.58A, 58B, 58C and 58D-1914 probably formed part of one large hanging.
