Floral spray made from feathers attached to silk wrapped wire. The green feathers are parrot, probably of several different species, including scaly-headed parrot (Pionus maximiliani). The red feathers are scarlet ibis (Eudocimus ruber). Rio de Janiero, Brazil, circa 1875.
