Tubular steel & canvas armchair, with white cushioned seat and back. The seat is formed of thick dark grey enamelled steel tubing, comprised of a U shaped support straight across the back, curving around to continue as straight lateral supports, then curving up to rise as straight front legs. These are joined by a narrow tubular front seat rail above a joint in the main frame. The leg sections of this frame rise upwards to form arm supports. The upholstery consists of buff canvas webbing attached by tubes at the back rail and seat rail and to the arms. The arm webs incorporate pockets on the outside. Resting on this web is a loose cushion divided in two as the seat and back with four buttons on each.
