Bronze plaquette, Christ appearing to the apostles. Italian late 15th century.
Physical description
Plaquette in bronze, Christ appearing to the Apostles. Christ, holding a cruciform staff. His right hand raised in blessing, stands between two groups of kneeling Apostles. In the background are two tall buildings. There is a narrow sunken rim. A drilled hole in top centre, two corners slightly damaged.
