This gilt bronze plaquette represents the Virgin with St. Gothard and St. Catherine of Alexandria. This was probably made in the 18th or 19th century Italy.

Physical description

Gilt bronze plaquette representing the Virgin with St. Gothard and St. Catherine of Alexandria. In the centre the Virgin is seated on a high throne, her breast pierced with the swords of the seven sorrows. On the left stands St. Gothard in bishop's vestments, on the right St. Catherine with palm branch and wheel.
